LABORATORI NAZIONALI DI LEGNARO
The gas permeability of lanthanum carbide samples with different amount of interconnected porosity was measured with the experimental set-up built in Legnaro. First results, their comparison with room temperature analysis and their extrapolation towards the real operating conditions of the target (T=2000°C) will be presented. The results will be discussed as function of the strucutral evolution of the material at high temperature.
