SEZIONE DI FIRENZE
The 30th Johns Hopkins Workshop will be organized in the context of the GGI Workshop "New Directions beyond the Standard Model in Field and String Theory",. May 2-June 30, 2006 and it will be held in Arcetri, Florence, on the premises of the new Galileo Galilei Institute (GGI) for Theoretical Physics, funded by INFN and sponsored by INFN and University of Florence. The GGI is located on the hill of Arcetri, near the house where Galileo spent periods of his life and died in 1642. The Conference will be focused about possible extensions of the Standard Model offering an explanation for the origin of the electroweak scale and its connection with other scales in particle physics. A special emphasis will be given to the topics discussed within the running GGI workshop. The Conference Program consists of invited talks and the number of participants will be limited to about eighty invited people
