LNS: JANINA GRINEVICIUTE - RCCSM AND ITS APPLICATION TO 14N(P,G)
LABORATORI NAZIONALI DEL SUD
The recoil corrected continuum shell model1,2 (RCCSM) provides coupled channels solutions for a problem with one nucleon in continuum. It uses translationally invariant NN interaction and provides antisymmetric solutions with no spurious components. The model is applied3 to low energy proton capture by 14N. The prediction for 14N(p,g)15O is S(0)=1.676 keV b and S(30)=1.666 keV b. Good agreement with available cross section supports this result. An interaction employed was a fit to Cohen and Kurath p-shell matrix elements and Reid soft-core g-matrix elements. 1. R. J. Philpott, Nucl. Phys. A 289, 109 (1977). 2. D. Halderson, Int. J. Mod.
