LABORATORI NAZIONALI DEL SUD
A multi mega Watt Cyclotron complex able to accelerate H2+ molecule up to 800 MeV/n is under design. It consists of an injector cyclotron to accelerate the injected beam up to 60 MeV/n and of a booster ring made of 8 magnetic sectors and 4 main RF cavities. The advantages to accelerate H2+ and the main parameters of the injector and the ring cyclotron are presented. The Multi mega Watt cyclotron complex it is of interest to produce intense neutrino fluxes for the experiment DAEDALUS and also as driver for subcritical thorium reactor
