I will start with a pedagogical review of T-duality along SU(2) isometries and then narrow my focus to dualising type-II SuGra solutions dual to QFTS with minimal SUSY. Along the way I wil introduce generalised geometry into the narrative as this gives an elegant classification of the T-dual geometries in terms of g-structures and enables an extension of the duality to include calibrated sources, with clear applications to holography with smeared flavours. In addition one can show, quite generally, that in 6-d the duality maps SU(3) to SU(2). The dual structure is actually dynamical SU(2) whenever the original solution is confining.
