TO: SINGLE PION PRODUCTION IN NEUTRINO-NUCLEON SCATTERING
SESZIONE DI TORINO The analysis of the vector and axial form factors in the Rein-Sehgal
(RS) model will be presented. The Rein-Sehgal (RS) model (usually used
in Monte Carlo simulations) describes single pion production in
neutrino-nucleon scattering. I will present some phenomenological and
theoretical arguments which lead to new form of the vector and axial
form factors. The vector part is shown to agree with the resonant
contribution to electron-proton inclusive F2 data. The axial part is
obtained by finding a simultaneous fit to ANL and BNL d\sigma/dQ2
neutrino scattering data. Our best fit corresponds to C5A(0)=0.88 in the
Rarita Schwinger formalism. Nonzero lepton mass effects in the
Rein-Sehgal model will be also discussed.
