TO: EFFECTS OF THE COSMOLOGICAL CONSTANT ON LOCAL SYSTEM
SESZIONE DI TORINO Cosmology can affect gravitational phenomena in local
systems. Planet orbits, gravitational redshifts and light deflection feel
both the dark energy and the dark matter filling in the universe. Actual
bounds on the cosmological parameters from accurate astrometric data in
the Solar system fall short of ten orders of magnitude with respect to
estimates from observational cosmology but future radio-ranging
measurements of outer planets could improve constraints by five orders of
magnitude.
