I will describe NuWro, the Monte Carlo generator of neutrino interaction which has been developed in Wroclaw during last ~5 years. Its performance will be compared with other generators used by major experimental groups. The generator construction provides the strong motivation for some specific theoretical work and some examples of such theoretical activity will be discussed as well.
