(E. Santopinto) Seminario di Fenomenologia delle particelle elementari, nella prima metà divulgativo. Evento congiunto con l'Universita' di Genova. Speaker: David Marzocca (TS) The observed anomalies in B-meson decays represent the most significant deviation from the SM observed to date in particle physics. After an introduction on the experimental results, I will show how these can be consistently combined in a very simple EFT setup. From this starting point I will discuss more UV aspects: what are the possible mediators, how to embed them in more UV complete pictures, and what are the most interesting signatures in high-pT searches.
